About

I’m Mary Harman. I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and photographer living in the Chicago suburbs.

In my design career, I have worked in-house and at agencies; freelance and full-time; for non-profit and in private sector; hired by one-person businesses and million-dollar companies. I feel so blessed to have experienced such a wide range of clients and projects. All varieties of design work have their unique challenges, and I love it all.

In 2020, I co-founded Bucket Travel, an adventure travel company that publishes a bi-annual magazine. I am the sole designer for all our publications, and it’s something I am deeply proud of and a passion project I love to work on.

My passion in design is to make beautiful, effective tools for communication through clear and consistent branding that create familiarity and loyalty.
